Nathan Treadgold is a 19 year old guitar player from South Wales, now based in Guildford, Surrey. Specializing in solo fingerstyle acoustic guitar, reminiscent of various players such as Andy Mckee, Don Ross, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour. Nathan started playing at the age of 13, and picked up the feel of the instrument very quickly; getting hooked on mainstream acts such as Jack Johnson and Red Hot Chili Peppers before discovering solo guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel and Andy Mckee. He immediately set his standards high by performing pieces from such players. Other strong influences include Don Ross and Antoine Dufour whose influence can be heard in his compositions. Nathan is now composing material for his second CD, following his debut release 'View From The Outside'. Nathan performed at the Royal Albert Hall in November 2009 which is a highlight of his career so far. Nathan uses a Stonebridge CR-23, a Tanglewood TW-45 and an AER Compact 60 amplifier.
